Fair enough, but even if you become unstoppable after learning the timing, you know you're still going to hit a bunch of pop fly balls right? To me, the important part was the pitching, where you really had to hit them hard.

It just made more sense to me that the right fielder would immediately throw to the first baseman when you have a fair amount of time. Maybe I just haven't played baseball enough, but when the right fielder is closer to the first baseman than the cutoff player is, it makes sense to throw it there.

But I am DEFINITELY with you on a full baseball game with Baseball Slugger mechanics behind it. That would be awesome-fantastic!

I have to disagree with this review. In my opinion, having such simple controls makes the game boring after a while, especially with batting. That you become "unstoppable" after learning timing with batting is not a good thing, because the game then becomes boring! And, as for the fact that the right fielder throws the ball to the cutoff man...when was the last time you saw someone throw a running out at first base from right field in a real baseball game? Anyway, I love com2us for their slugger home run derby game, but this game pales in comparison. I hope they combine their "slugger" mechanics with a full baseball game and make an iPhone-optimized hybrid that truly kicks butt.
