    - Very quick and fun game
    - Well polished and animated
    - Can be passed around with friends

    - Not much depth
    - Hitting obstacles is way too easy

A great little game based on a popular cartoon franchise, made for kids but everyone will have fun with it, definitely worth checking out.

Stunt Wagon is a game released by zinc Roe Design, based on the Zimmer Twins cartoon series on Teletoon.

The Game

Go kitty, go!
Go kitty, go!

Stunt Wagon has you choosing one of the three characters, Edgar Zimmer, Eva Zimmer, and their adorable black cat. The character you choose will then hop on a wagon, and go flying down a road full of obstacles. These obstacles are pylons, which will slow you down temporarily, and tires, which will eject your character from the wagon, costing you precious seconds! As implied, the aim of the game is to make it to the bottom of the track before the timer expires, for three rounds, with each round increasing the number of obstacles. And to dodge those obstacles, you just have to simply tilt your device up and down in the direction you wish to go. In addition, tapping and holding onto the screen lets your wagon levitate, thanks to your super psychic powers (Should have mentioned that earlier, eh?) and you can levitate over any obstacles you just can’t navigate quick enough around.

The simplicity of Stunt Wagon is one of its strengths, never needing more than five or six minutes to register a score, which you can then add to the high score board. It truly is one of those games you can just play whenever, and it ensures that you can have fun real quick.

Graphics

Stunt Wagon has great art from the cartoon itself, which doesn’t need to be explained too much because you can see how clean and polished it looks in screen shots. The animations are excellent and are well fleshed out, I definitely thought it did the cartoon series justice.

Sound

Stunt Wagon has a great, up-tempo soundtrack that I can only assume comes from the show, and it really gets you going. The sound effects for Stunt Wagon are very effective, as they really add that extra oomph that a game needs to be really complete and polished.

Additional Comments

I'm at the top! ...I think.
I’m at the top! …I think.

Unfortunately, Stunt Wagon doesn’t allow you to play your iPod songs while playing the game, regardless if you turn off the in-game music or not. One of my main complaints with the game is that I can appear to miss a tire, but I will still run into it. My solution was to simply float over any tires in my way, but that can only last for so long! Also, the score boards just seem to be numbers from greatest to least with no name, which makes boasting a heck of a lot harder!

Conclusion

Stunt Wagon is one of three games currently available for the Zimmer Twins franchise, and each game feels a lot like a mini-game for the series, which is perfect for quick and fun gaming, definitely worth checking out!
